Dr. Jerry Bruggeman is medical director for the Compassus program in Jefferson City and associate medical director in Columbia, Missouri. He also serves as medical director for several long-term care facilities and has a growing advanced senior care practice in Columbia. He has worked in hospice care since 2008.

Bruggeman received his bachelor’s and medical degrees from the University of Missouri – Columbia, where he also completed his residency in family and community medicine. He earned a Master of Business Administration degree in health management from William Woods University. Bruggeman is board certified in family medicine and hospice and palliative medicine, and is a certified medical director by the American Medical Directors Association.
