Paul Bach is executive vice president and chief operating officer of Genesis HealthCare, one of the nation’s largest post-acute and long-term care providers with approximately 400 skilled nursing centers and senior living communities in 29 states nationwide.
Bach has been with the organization for 37 years and most recently led operations for the Mid-Atlantic/Southeast Division with 127 nursing centers and assisted/senior living facilities located throughout eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Ohio, Indiana, Florida, Alabama and Georgia. He has also held positions with Genesis that include senior vice president, regional vice president, regional director and nursing home administrator.
Bach earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Towson University. He is active in numerous volunteer engagements and currently serves as board chair of the Philadelphia chapter of the American Heart Association. He previously served on the board of managers of Life Choice Hospice, which was acquired by Compassus in 2015.
