Robert Nichols, MD, is chief of staff at Tennova Hospital — Harton and medical director at NHC Tullahoma. He serves on the board of directors at Partners for Healing, a local health care clinic for the working uninsured, and as a sub-investigator for Trinity Clinical Research.
Dr. Nichols is board certified in Internal Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. He is a member of American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians and Tennessee Medical Association. He received his American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine certification in 2013.
He received his undergraduate degree from Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee, and his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Tennessee, Nashville Campus.
