Gordon Glasgow, MD, is founding medical director of Hospice Care of California, a part of the Compassus family, serving the greater Los Angeles and Orange County, California area. As medical director for numerous Orange County companies involved in senior care, Dr. Glasgow specializes in post-acute care including skilled nursing facility-based geriatrics and hospice and palliative medicine.
He received his medical degree from the University of Toronto, where he specialized in Internal Medicine. He completed his residency at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, and a fellowship in Cardiology at the University of California Irvine. Dr. Glasgow is recognized as a leading expert in geriatric care and is board certified in hospice and palliative medicine. He is also a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada.
Dr. Glasgow has participated in extensive research and published in the American Journal of Cardiology. He recently received the Senior Care Hero Award for Outstanding Physician Specialist.
