I learned so much from talking to other physicians. Happy to see prognostication tools.
Very impressed with the conference and all the resources available. I am going to take back the opportunity to educate my nurses.
I’m very impressed with the sophistication of this group. Picked up on a lot of things from this conference but particularly focusing on the physician narrative. Learned more from this conference about metrics and supporting the decline. Dr. Glascow and Dr. Watts tools were very helpful.

This is a physician driven organization and proud that Compassus has this model. Proud to be linked to a company like Compassus. We do a lot of advanced care planning and I think we need to do more. I am going to take this back to my team.

Takeaway: Importance of home visits by the MD. Move complex patients to IDT days.
We are the Google of hospice. Great team.
I will encourage other MDs to attend meetings like these and attend state functions to raise hospice to the highest level.

Quality drives volume and census and we need to look at ways to bring it up and educate others on quality.
“You don’t know where you are going if you don’t know where you’ve been.” It all goes back to education. Helpful for the families to have a video to show the patient who the team is and what they can do for you.
Compassus has a lot of knowledge and is a top-quality organization.
I did a lot of self-study to be a Medical Director. This meeting was great and helpful.
Takeaway: as physicians we all provide quality care but we need to document the care and use the right terms.
Attended the prognostication conference – it was very helpful. I want to use it to teach the physicians at the hospital.
