Kelley Newcomer, MD, is medical director for the Compassus program serving the Dallas, Texas area. She also serves as medical director for Manchester Place Assisted Living.
She received her bachelor’s degree in Music from the University of Texas at Austin and her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern, where she also completed a psychiatry internship. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas where she later became a clinical instructor in the Department of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Newcomer also served as a full-time medical missionary at Hospital Evangelico and Hospital Loma de Luz in Honduras for four years before launching her private practice in Dallas at Signature Point on the Lake. She also provides care in group home and assisted living settings throughout Dallas. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Care.
